Own your name...or someone else will

There was the gold rush. There was the land rush. And for a good while now we've been in the .com rush. And where have you been?  Ignoring it? Mistake my friend and here's why.

First a confession. I own a lot of names. Compulsion or Obsession? Let's not quibble. If in looking for names for clients I see a few good ones...I grab them. Why think about it? For $7 a year I have staked my claim.​

• SuitPorn.com ( I sell custom menswear... hello!) I would have registered ShirtPorn too, but someone else had already done it . Damn them! 
• FrostedPickle.com. Why? Because my 17 year old loved it. $7 a year people!
• NodsandBecks.com and WantonWiles.com. Oh come on! Milton? L'Allegro?  He gave us "trip the light fantastic" too. Taken. Double Damn.

I digress. Of course I own  JuleneHunter.com. It's my name. Why wouldn't I? It's my most valuable name! Why? Because no other Julene Hunter can have it! And back to this start - why don't you own your name? Or some version of it! And your kids? Them too!

​It's a little late to join the modern gold-rush, but it's still on! Go get some gold!
