I dabbled in art at Cal during the late seventies while studying Architecture and Visual Design. We learned to make our own paint, to glaze like the masters and to sculpt, press and stretch our imaginations and abilities. And in the end, no-one could agree on anything. That was an education.
My first job out of college was at FIDM in San Francisco. What followed was a fast learning-curve in design and marketing. I remember ruby-lithe and typographers, long before the arrival of the personal computer which changed everything - including me. I beta-tested the earliest design software and continued to learn my craft. Eventually that lead to starting my first software company. |
Two software start-ups later, and a career change as an Executive Director for two non-profits, I finally retired to my studio to write, consult, create and design.
Good Ink - offers affordable design and marketing solutions often pro-bono for nonprofits. I consult, and provide executive and board coaching. Art is commissioned - portrait, landscapes, abstracts, illustrations and in-situ murals. I invite opportunities to create murals, and site specific works. I work out of my studio in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. |
