Fine Art
I am interested in capturing light, color and mood. I see beauty in every landscape even in the smallest leaf, dark shadow, or the valleys and peaks of a face. A camera can capture a moment, but paintings can capture a memory. Now that we digitally document our lives in pictures, I want to reflect the small details I might have missed in the moment - the ones just around the corner or hiding just beneath the surface in our imagination. Art offers the space to re-imagine and reinterpret what we think we see. I believe art is poetry for the visual senses and every viewer is invited to bring their own unique perspective. |

Prices start from $400. The number of figures, portion of each figure included, and size of the painting as well as the medium used, all affect the cost of the painting. An oil of a head and shoulders of one figure on a 16" x 20" canvas starts at $400. A half figure would be $500 and a full length figure (24" x 30") would be $700. An additional figure on the same canvas generally runs an additional 50% of the basic price. All that said, let's have fun! I work from a sitting, sketches and photos. I can create a memorable work of art that will be cherished by family for generations. |
